Maritime Malaysia detains two vessels, seizure including oil worth RM260 million
The Malaysian Maritime Enforcement Agency (MMEA) detained two vessels suspected of conducting unauthorized ship-to-ship activities in national waters off Kota Tinggi, Johor. The seizure, including the vessels and their oil cargo, is estimated to be worth RM260 million. The case is being investigated under the Merchant Shipping Ordinance 1952 and the Customs Act 1967.
