High Court rejects citizenship bid by woman born out of wedlock to Malaysian father
The Muar High Court has dismissed a woman's bid for Malaysian citizenship by operation of law, as she was born out of wedlock to a Malaysian father and an Indonesian mother. The judicial commissioner ruled that the court is bound by the Federal Court's interpretation of the Constitution.
