Data centre growth expected to boost contractor job opportunities
An RHB Investment Bank analyst, Adam Mohamed Rahim, said the rapid growth of data centres and cloud services is expected to increase job opportunities for contractors in Malaysia. This is driven by high demand for industrial buildings in Penang and Johor, as well as large investments in data centre projects such as those planned by Microsoft and Yondr in Johor.
