Sabah tourism chief warns high airfares could hurt Explore Sabah 2027 campaign
A Sabah tourism leader says rising airfares and fuel costs threaten the state's competitiveness ahead of Explore Sabah 2027. He noted that a Kuala Lumpur-Kota Kinabalu return flight is now only about RM16 cheaper than one to Jakarta, which could push tourists to choose overseas destinations.
