KSN: DEEP system aims to improve leadership, not punish
Chief Secretary to the Government Tan Sri Shamsul Azri Abu Bakar stressed that the Demerit Performance Evaluation System (DEEP) is not a punitive tool but a civil service reform mechanism. He has asked the Public Service Department (JPA) to review the weighting of DEEP assessments for ministry secretaries-general to be more holistic and include digitalisation.
