Malaysia, Indonesia near deal to reopen Tebedu-Entikong border trade
Malaysia and Indonesia are close to reopening trade through the Tebedu-Entikong border crossing between Sarawak and West Kalimantan. Indonesian Trade Minister Budi Santoso said only a few administrative matters remain after both countries agreed on substantive and regulatory aspects. Trade through the route has declined since Indonesia imposed restrictions in 2014.
