India's GSLV rocket successfully launches EOS-05 surveillance satellite
India's GSLV rocket successfully launched the EOS-05 Earth-observation satellite into geosynchronous orbit from Sriharikota. The launch is part of India's efforts to expand its space-based surveillance capabilities. This is the GSLV's second consecutive success since July last year.
