Scammers impersonating a quarry transport company ordered engine lubricants from factories, causing losses of nearly RM40,000. A Johor Bahru company lost about RM12,400, while two Kuala Lumpur firms were also targeted. The company's general manager held a press conference with the Johor machinery and vehicle parts association to warn the industry.
