MediaTek unveils Dimensity 9600 Pro built on 2nm process
MediaTek has launched its new flagship mobile chipset, the Dimensity 9600 Pro, built on TSMC's 2nm process node with a 2+3+3 all-big-core CPU layout and a dual-NPU design. The company claims gains of up to 17% in single-core speed and 27% in GPU peak performance over the previous generation, with LPDDR6 and UFS 5.0 support. A watered-down 9600M variant was also announced, and the first phones using the chip are expected this year.
