Petronas, partners sign methane management collaboration
Petronas has signed a memorandum of collaboration with JOGMEC, JGC Corporation and TotalEnergies to establish the Southeast Asia Methane Emissions Technology Evaluation Centre (SEA Metec). The centre will be set up at INSTEP in Terengganu and UTP in Perak, focusing on methane emissions measurement and management. The signing took place at Gastech 2026 in Bangkok.
