Intel veterans' chip startup Delos Data raises $100m for AI data centre networking

Delos Data, a chip startup founded by former Intel engineers, said on Tuesday it has raised $100 million to build chips and software that speed up data movement inside AI data centres. The round was joined by Playground, where former Intel CEO Pat Gelsinger is a partner, along with Matrix Partners, Socratic Partners, Capricorn, Matter Venture Partners, IAG and DYNAMIQ. The company is targeting the growing mix of AI computing chips used in data centres.
