SIA Group passenger traffic up 1.5% in August
SIA Group's passenger traffic rose 1.5% year on year in August on stronger travel demand, lifting revenue passenger kilometres to 13.8 million. Growth was strongest in East Asia, Europe and the Southwest Pacific, with Scoot up 4.9% and Singapore Airlines up 0.5%. Group cargo traffic rose 2.8% while cargo capacity fell 0.7% on maintenance work.
