Blackbox study: 85% of Singapore delivery users fear higher charges after Deliveroo exit
A Blackbox Research study of 1,001 active food delivery consumers in Singapore found 85% fear higher delivery charges and 84% expect steeper menu prices after Deliveroo left the market in March 2026. Over nine in ten users now default to GrabFood or foodpanda, and 57% say their choices have shrunk. The report, released on 16 September 2026, also found 72% believe fewer platforms leave local restaurants with higher commissions that are passed on to consumers.
