Anwar: Tabung Haji RCI report tabled for national interest, not polls
Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim said the Cabinet decided to table the Royal Commission of Inquiry report into Lembaga Tabung Haji, which found RM12.5 billion in estimated losses, for policy and national interest reasons rather than political ones. He said the tabling was previously postponed at Tabung Haji's request to allow it to restructure, and that he is prepared for the probe to cover his own administration. The report covers the management and governance of Tabung Haji between 2014 and 2020.
