Negeri Sembilan exco statement on Tuanku Muhriz not state govt's stand, says Teo

DAP's Bahau assemblyman Teo Kok Seong said a statement purportedly issued by Negeri Sembilan exco members declaring Tuanku Muhriz Tuanku Munawir's removal as ruler does not represent the state government's official position. Negeri Sembilan DAP chief J Arul Kumar urged Menteri Besar Ismail Lasim to clarify the state government's stand after contradictory statements emerged from the same exco meeting. The dispute follows Ismail's earlier statement that he had no power to unilaterally remove the Yang Dipertuan Besar.
