Sri Lanka parliament weighs reviving Rameswaram-Thalaimannar passenger ferry
In Sri Lanka's parliament, TNA MP Selvam Adaikalanathan urged the government to restart the passenger ferry service between Rameswaram in Tamil Nadu and Thalaimannar in Sri Lanka. Ports Minister Anura Karunathilaka replied that the government is seriously considering the service and promised a detailed report with full plans within two weeks.
