Datuk Seri Rosmadi Ismail has been elected as the new First Vice President of the Football Association of Malaysia (FAM) at the Second Extraordinary Congress 2026 in Petaling Jaya. He secured 15 votes, defeating Mohd Firdaus Mohamed and Syed Yazid Syed Omar who each received five. Rosmadi expressed confidence that the new leadership team and experienced secretariat can address weaknesses in FAM's administration and improve the national team's performance.
