Foreign workers occupy KL apartment utility rooms, run illegal motorcycle repair
At an affordable housing apartment on Jalan Ipoh in Kuala Lumpur, seven or eight Bangladeshi workers have been occupying equipment and pump rooms as living quarters and workshops, storing motorcycle tyres, black oil and petrol, and running an illegal motorcycle repair operation. Residents say one was seen showering in a women's toilet near the pool, and they have lodged three police reports and referred the matter to the COB, the strata management tribunal and Kuala Lumpur City Hall.

Immigration raids 11 premises on Jalan Chan Sow Lin, 30 foreigners held
Malaysian Immigration officers raided 11 premises in the commercial area of Jalan Chan Sow Lin, Kuala Lumpur, in Ops Serkap at midday yesterday. Thirty foreigners were detained, including 11 Bangladeshis suspected of running the premises, while 19 others were held for various immigration offences. Seized items included 18 laptops, 21 printers and scanners, three mobile phones, 10 Bangladeshi passports, and suspected fake e-PLKS and police reports sold at RM150 and RM70 each.

Driver tests positive for four drugs after crashing into three vehicles on Jalan Kampung Bandar Dalam
A Honda Civic driver tested positive for four types of drugs after crashing into three vehicles at a traffic light junction on Jalan Kampung Bandar Dalam, Kuala Lumpur, at about 3.50pm yesterday. No injuries were reported and the case is being investigated under Section 42(1) of the Road Transport Act 1987.

Motorcyclist dies after skidding on Sultan Iskandar Highway
A man in his 30s died after his Yamaha Y15ZR motorcycle lost control and skidded on the Sultan Iskandar Highway from Jalan Duta towards Jalan Tun Razak this afternoon. KL police propose KK Mart stores as GTSP safety points

Muhyiddin's lawyer accuses MACC officer of intimidation over police report

472 foreigners detained in Immigration raid at Lebuh Pudu
Kuala Lumpur Immigration detained 472 foreign nationals in an integrated enforcement operation at Lebuh Pudu, Kuala Lumpur today. About 2,500 foreigners were checked in the operation that began around 11am, involving nationals from Bangladesh, Myanmar, the Philippines, Nepal, Indonesia, Pakistan, India, China, Zimbabwe and Saudi Arabia. Immigration raid at Lebuh Pudu nets 472 undocumented foreigners
An integrated operation at Lebuh Pudu in Kuala Lumpur today detained 472 foreigners suspected of lacking valid documents after about 2,500 people were checked. Court sets 15 trial days from July 26 for former Armed Forces chief
The Sessions Court in Kuala Lumpur has fixed 15 days from July 26 next year for the trial of former Armed Forces chief Tan Sri Mohd Nizam Jaffar, who faces four charges of abuse of position and criminal breach of trust involving RM3 million. The charges relate to alleged bribes and misuse of the Armed Forces Welfare Fund (TKAT) linked to Hari Raya parcel supply contracts in 2024. Two killed in two-vehicle crash on Jalan Kuantan-Maran
Two men died in a crash involving a Honda Civic and a Toyota Hilux on Jalan Kuantan-Maran near Masjid Paya Bungor, Gambang. The victims were identified as Muhammad Daniel Haiqal Abdullah, 17, and Mohd Sharul Sufriyanto, 40. Army officer murder case: chemical report due 13 October

Thai cook held by JPJ for driving with expired road tax
A Thai cook was detained on Jalan Genting Kelang in Kuala Lumpur for driving a Mercedes with an expired motor vehicle licence.
