Final report on Penang ferry collision to be finalised after probe
The final report on the September 1 collision between MV Mekar Jaya and the Teluk Bahang ferry in Penang waters will be finalised after the investigation is complete. A joint investigation committee involving the Marine Department, the Penang Port Commission and Penang Port Sdn Bhd is identifying the cause. 21 passengers were initially reported injured.

Restaurant waiter, 19, charged with attempted murder for ramming car into man during armed fight in Air Itam

Penang City Council raids unlicensed laundrette on Gat Lebuh Macallum

Eleven men will be charged in George Town over an armed riot between two Gang 04 groups that occurred on Aug 29 outside SJK(C) Kong Min Second Branch in Air Itam.
