At an affordable housing apartment on Jalan Ipoh in Kuala Lumpur, seven or eight Bangladeshi workers have been occupying equipment and pump rooms as living quarters and workshops, storing motorcycle tyres, black oil and petrol, and running an illegal motorcycle repair operation. About 500 units of the People's Housing Project (PPR) at Taman Yu Legenda in Sungai Yu, Kuala Selangor, have been left empty for over three years despite being ready for occupancy and handed over by the developer.
