NEEAP 2.0 targets 11.6% cut in energy demand, RM85b in savings by 2035
The National Energy Efficiency Policy and Action Plan (NEEAP) 2.0 aims to reduce Malaysia's energy demand by 11.6% by 2035, generating RM85 billion in savings. The plan will expand energy efficiency measures to cover gas and thermal energy, and may lead to improved efficiency ratings for more consumer appliances.
