LEAD Malaysia praises Melaka CM's hands-on approach, hopes other states follow
The Lestari Ekonomi Aktivis Digital Malaysia (LEAD Malaysia) organization has praised Melaka Chief Minister Datuk Seri Ab Rauf Yusoh for personally experiencing the work of a p-hailing rider. They noted that this experience led to initiatives such as a 20-30 percent motorcycle maintenance subsidy for over 3,000 riders. LEAD Malaysia hopes other state governments will adopt this approach and view gig workers as part of the economic ecosystem.
