Petronas targets 2 million barrels per day output through 2028
Petronas president and CEO Tengku Muhammad Taufik said the company aims to sustain Malaysia's oil and gas production at two million barrels of oil equivalent per day through 2028. He made the remarks in a keynote address at the opening of Oil and Gas Asia (OGA) 2026 in Kuala Lumpur, emphasizing partnerships and investment in exploration and deep-water development.
