Sarawak Premier: Free tertiary education, STEM key to closing rural-urban wealth gap
Sarawak Premier Abang Johari said the state is using its Free Tertiary Education Scheme and a focus on STEM to reduce the wealth gap between rural and urban communities. He made the remarks at the FEIAP 2026 General Assembly in Kuching, where he also highlighted the state's high-income status and its push into semiconductors.
