PISA 2025: Malaysia's Science and Reading scores rise, Maths falls
Malaysia's PISA 2025 results show Science and Reading scores improving from 2022, while Mathematics dropped from 409 to 397. Deputy Director-General of Education Rusmini Ku Ahmad said the gains show students can rebound after the Covid-19 pandemic, and the Education Ministry is rolling out its 2026-2035 Mathematics Education Transformation Plan.
