Azalina: let police probe Negeri Sembilan MB's duress claim

Minister in the Prime Minister's Department Azalina Othman Said said the claim by Negeri Sembilan Menteri Besar Ismail Lasim that he was forced to sign a proclamation to remove the state's Yang di-Pertuan Besar should be left to police. She said it would be inappropriate to comment as police have opened an investigation paper into whether duress or undue influence was involved. Azalina added that the federal government and Umno central leadership should not interfere as it is a state matter.
