NUHS value-based care programme helps family manage child's Type 1 diabetes at home
A five-year-old boy in Singapore with Type 1 diabetes depends on insulin for life, but his condition is managed at home with guidance from National University Hospital care teams. The National University Health System's Appropriate and Value-Based Care approach, introduced in 2015, has benefited more than 300,000 patients and marks its tenth year at the AVBC 2026 Symposium on 15 September.
