PSM urges gazetting of Orang Asli customary land, questions Bera arrests
Parti Sosialis Malaysia is calling for Orang Asli customary land to be recognised and gazetted to prevent disputes and seizure by third parties, blaming Jakoa for failing its fiduciary duty. PSM also questioned the detention of five Orang Asli accused of obstructing enforcement at the Tasik Bera Ramsar conservation forest in Bera, Pahang, which it says is part of Semelai customary territory.
