IPU di Paka, Kuala Terengganu dan Kemaman melebihi 150
Bacaan Indeks Pencemar Udara (IPU) di tiga stesen pemantauan di Terengganu iaitu Paka, Kuala Terengganu dan Kemaman mencatat bacaan melebihi 150 secara serentak. Pakar kualiti udara UniSZA Prof Madya Azman Azid berkata peningkatan itu menunjukkan kemungkinan pengangkutan pencemar serantau dan memerlukan analisis lanjut termasuk data titik panas dan model MyCMAQ.

Pahang haze worsens, all five API stations record unhealthy readings
Hazy conditions and reduced visibility hit several areas in Pahang today, with all five API monitoring stations in the state recording unhealthy readings. Indera Mahkota in Kuantan recorded 164, the highest in Pahang since the haze began, and schools in Kuantan have suspended outdoor co-curricular activities. A state committee chairman advised residents to limit outdoor activity, avoid open burning and wear masks.

Bacaan IPU di Kemaman, Paka dan Kuala Terengganu melepasi paras tidak sihat, masing-masing 160, 158 dan 154 sehingga tengah hari. Jabatan Pendidikan Negeri Terengganu menangguhkan serta-merta semua aktiviti luar bilik darjah di semua sekolah negeri itu sehingga kualiti udara kembali selamat.
