Three people - a motorcyclist, a flower seller and a pedestrian - were injured and sought treatment at a nearby hospital. Police are investigating the case under Rule 10 LN 166/59.

Sabah's 56-member ITF Taekwon-Do contingent, represented by three clubs, returned with 31 medals from the Hwa Rang Warrior Asia Cup 2026 held at Stadium Titiwangsa in Kuala Lumpur from Sept 4 to 6. They finished 16th among 59 teams with four golds, 10 silvers and 17 bronzes. Contingent chief Osmaiza Osman said the initial target of 10 golds was not met but praised the athletes, coaches and officials for their commitment.
