Boat operator arrested, remanded four days over Mersing collision

A 33-year-old boat operator was remanded for four days over a collision between two passenger boats at Kuala Sungai Mersing on Aug 31. The collision killed two people and injured seven others. The case is being investigated for causing death by negligence.
