Boat operator arrested to help probe into collision of two boats in Mersing

Police in Johor have arrested the operator of one of two passenger boats involved in a collision near Kuala Sungai Mersing, Mersing, which killed two people. The 33-year-old local man was detained to assist in the investigation and has been remanded for four days. The case is being investigated under sections for causing death by negligence and reckless operation of a vessel.
