Court of Appeal upholds death sentence for deaf-mute man in 2017 quadruple murder
The Court of Appeal in Putrajaya has upheld the death sentence for Kang Cheng Heng, a deaf-mute man convicted of murdering his girlfriend's parents and two nephews in Tanjung Sepat in 2017. The court dismissed his appeal, stating the severity of the crime warranted the death penalty. Kang was also sentenced to nine years for injuring a surviving nephew.
