DBS CEO Tan Su Shan rules out politics, urges more private-sector talent in policy debate
DBS chief executive Tan Su Shan said she is "too old" to enter politics when asked at a Singapore Press Club fireside chat on Sep 11 whether she would stand in the next General Election. The 57-year-old, a former PAP member and NMP from 2012 to 2014, called for more talent from both the public and private sectors to raise the quality of policy debate in Singapore, following a parliamentary debate on ministerial salaries.
