Samaiden Group Bhd group managing director Datuk Ir Chow Pui Hee has disposed of 10 million ordinary shares in the renewable energy company for RM18.5 million. The transaction was carried out on Sept 9, 2026 outside a closed period, according to a Bursa Malaysia filing. She still holds a 24% stake with 137,652,500 units.

VinFast and GSM announce new leadership, Pham Nhat Vuong steps down as CEO
VinFast and GSM announced new leadership appointments, with Pham Nhat Quan Anh taking over as CEO of VinFast Global from Pham Nhat Vuong. Tunku Kamariah appointed Executive Deputy Chairman of Techna-X
Techna-X Berhad has appointed YAM Tunku Kamariah Aminah Maimunah Iskandariah binti Sultan Iskandar as Executive Director and Deputy Chairman effective 10 September 2026. The 70-year-old, eldest sister of the Sultan of Johor, is also a trustee of the Sultan Iskandar Foundation and sits on the board of AHB Holdings Berhad. Seoul court orders Smilegate founder to pay ex-wife RM5.4b in divorce settlement
A Seoul family court has granted a divorce to Kwon Hyuk-bin, founder of South Korean gaming company Smilegate, and ordered him to transfer 35 per cent of the company's shares plus cash to his wife, Lee Hwa-jin. The 2.55 trillion won settlement is reported as the largest divorce payout in South Korean history.

TNB prioritises worker skills in energy transition

Apple Inc disclosed in a Sept 1 SEC filing that incoming CEO John Ternus will receive a compensation package worth about US$58 million (RM237.22 million) in fiscal 2027, while Tim Cook's new role as executive chairman pays around US$47 million.
