Ex-travel firm MD's cheating conviction upheld, jail cut to 5 years
The Court of Appeal in Putrajaya upheld the conviction of a former managing director for cheating 202 people in umrah and Egypt pilgrimage package fraud worth RM434,250. His 10-year sentence was reduced to five years, to run from today. The offences were committed in Kedah, Johor and Selangor between 2015 and 2016.
