Basarnas weighs towing sunken Virgo 8 as 140 still missing in Java Sea

Indonesia's search and rescue agency Basarnas says the wreck of the ferry Virgo Transport 8 lies about 30 metres down in the Java Sea and is considering towing it to shallower water. Six people are confirmed dead and 140 remain missing after the vessel, carrying 243 people, lost contact on Sunday. The search is now in its second day and split into six sectors.
