BYD Malaysia shelves original Tanjung Malim assembly plan, reassessing location and investment
BYD Malaysia has confirmed that its previously announced vehicle assembly plant in Tanjung Malim, Perak, will not proceed in its original form. The company says it is reassessing the location and investment needed for a sustainable manufacturing operation, while CKD assembly remains in the pipeline and existing stock is sufficient.
